Our mobile and web development client based in Scotland are looking for an experienced Lead Developer to join their expanding team working on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of software developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Working with the Project Management team to own and manage the delivery of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Regularly review the team’s progress on development sprints to identify opportunities to optimise ticket assignments or approach, providing recommendations to Project Management and the development team.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, scope work, and provide accurate estimates for project proposals and statements of work.
- Hands-on software development and being a fallback point for the team of technical expertise
It is expected that you will have at least 5 years recent development experience of React.js, Node.js, AWS and Docker with at least 2 of those years working as a Lead Developer within an agency environment.
