Our client, a highly established Accountancy Practice in North London is looking to recruit an experienced assistant accountant to assist the Accounts Manager and progress within this friendly but highly professional, forward thinking organisation.
The suitable candidate will be working in an accountancy practice (or have done so in the past) with at least 2 years' experience mainly preparing annual accounts and self-assessment tax returns. You will likely have started your ACCA qualifications or have completed your AAT Qualifications.
Key Experience:- Part qualified accountant or fully qualified AAT (level 4).
- 2+ years' experience working in practice.
- Preparation for quarterly / end of year accounts for sole traders, partnerships, small limited companies and LLPs.
- Assisting the Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for client annual accounts preparation for sole traders, small limited companies, partnerships and LLPs using a variety of systems and spreadsheets.
- Updating client accounting systems with end of year adjustments.
- Corporation tax return.
- Self-assessment tax return preparation for individuals, partnerships.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
- Relationship management with your clients.
- Use of VT Software.
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Salary: Β£28-35k (depending on experience and previous earnings)
