Job Ref: Quality Inspection Placement 2027/2028
AP Racing is offering an exciting 13-month placement for undergraduate engineers looking to gain hands‑on experience within a globally recognised company. Starting in July 2027, you'll work on real engineering challenges, develop industry‑relevant skills, and contribute to the development of cutting‑edge products.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the principal inspector and team with departmental workload, aims and objectives.
- Developing soft and hard skills while liaising internally and externally across departments and suppliers.
- Inspecting AP Racing products, understanding part history and ensuring correct documentation is in place.
- Conducting visual and dimensional checks using various equipment, ensuring high‑quality components are released.
- 2D Technical Drawings
- Basic metrology equipment
- Microsoft Office

- Enthusiastic to learn
What We're Looking For
- An undergraduate who has completed at least two years of study and is on track for a 2:1 or above.
- Studying Mechanical, Motorsport, Automotive, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Eager to learn new skills, with strong problem‑solving abilities and a creative approach to challenges.
- Passionate about engineering, self‑motivated, and proactive in their work.
- A strong team player with effective communication skills.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK for the duration of the internship.
