AP Racing is offering an exciting 13-month IT placement for an undergraduate seeking hands-on experience within a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing company. Starting in July 2027, you’ll support the technology and systems that enable our teams to design, develop and deliver cutting‑edge products. You’ll work on real IT challenges, build industry‑relevant skills and contribute to projects that improve business operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing first‑line IT support to users, troubleshooting hardware, software and printer‑related issues.
- Setting up and maintaining IT equipment and user accounts
- Supporting networks, systems and troubleshooting connection issues
- Assisting with IT projects and system improvements
- Computer hardware and software systems.
- Networking concepts
- Active Directory and Device Management
- Good communication skills and eagerness to learn
What We’re Looking For
- An undergraduate who has completed at least two years of study and is on track for a 2:1 or above.
- Studying Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Eager to learn new skills, with strong problem‑solving abilities and a creative approach to challenges.
- Passionate about IT support and troubleshooting.
- A strong team player with effective communication skills.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK for the duration of the internship.
