Our client is a global fund management services firm with significant assets under management in private equity, open ended funds, real assets and private infrastructure investment programs. With offices based across the globe, the firm manages portfolios for an international institutional client base and are currently seeking to appoint a compliance manager to be based in their Jersey office.
The successful candidate will take charge of the company’s Jersey compliance program, managing a small CDD/AML team. Working closely with the local management team in Jersey, you will be reporting into the Head of Compliance for Europe. Responsibilities will include ensuring that all Jersey rules and regulations are being followed in respect of all entities licensed, by supporting and coordinating all AML efforts with the relevant teams in the Group’s other international offices.
Regularly engaging with these teams to develop and conduct training on Jersey-specific compliance matters. You will also be the main point of contact with the Jersey Financial Services Commission and will take the lead in response to any changes of regulations.
Applicants who can demonstrate extensive funds compliance and AML/CDD team management experience will be looked upon favourably. The successful candidate will possess an in-depth detailed knowledge of the JFSC Jersey regulatory guidelines in relation to fund products and services. Applications are invited from Compliance Officers, who hold entitled/entitled to work residential status and are ICA qualified with 4+ years PQE.
