Role Description
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating / plumbing systems in commercial buildings, including pipework, fixtures, and associated mechanical components. Day-to-day tasks will include diagnosing heating and plumbing issues, carrying out scheduled and reactive maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with relevant safety and building regulations. The role involves working closely with site managers, other trades, and clients to plan work, minimize disruption, and deliver high-quality outcomes. The Commercial Plumber will also complete job documentation, maintain tools and equipment, and support project delivery from installation through to handover. This is a full-time role.
Qualifications
- Strong heating and plumbing skills with experience in commercial installations and systems.
- Competence in pipe fitting and pipework installation, including reading and working from technical drawings.
- Experience in maintenance and repair, including routine maintenance and fault finding on systems.
- Good customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe working practices on construction and commercial sites.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally to customer sites as required.
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial building services is highly beneficial.
