Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day running of services.
• Participating in hands‑on support, including personal care, medication administration, and household tasks.
• Planning and managing staff rotas to ensure consistent and effective service coverage.
• Providing staff supervision, observation, and ongoing performance management.
• Completing audits and ensuring all service documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Developing and reviewing support plans and risk assessments.
• Reporting and recording accidents and incidents accurately.
• Liaising with families, local authorities, and health professionals to ensure effective partnership working.
• Having dedicated off‑rota time to complete management and administrative tasks, in addition to working as part of the staff team when required.

Qualifications

Experience in a similar support or supervisory role.

An enhanced Adult PVG is required for this role.
