What the day will look like
You will play a critical role in supporting the delivery and ongoing evolution of the Activate platform, working closely with business partners, Product Owners and Technology teams. You’ll bring clarity to requirements, ensure alignment across stakeholders, and help translate business needs into effective, high‑quality solutions. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
- Leading business requirements discussions to support the implementation and enhancement of the Activate platform
- Acting as a key liaison between Business, Operations and Product Owners as well as Technology teams
- Supporting backlog management by refining, prioritising and maintaining transparency of product requirements
- Gathering and documenting business processes, identifying gaps and challenges, and translating these into clear, actionable user stories
- Defining functional and non‑functional requirements and supporting the delivery team throughout the development lifecycle, including participation in daily scrum meetings
- Defining acceptance criteria and reviewing test coverage to ensure solutions meet agreed business and quality standards
- Supporting the business during User Acceptance Testing and ensuring solutions are operationally ready before being rolled out
- Continuously reflecting on delivery outcomes to identify lessons learned and drive process improvements
- Coaching and supporting other Business Systems Analysts in requirements management, coordination and analysis activities
- Acting as an escalation point for complex functional issues and helping set direction and priorities for aligned teams
- Interacting with senior business leaders and providing clear communication of progress, risks and issues

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Extensive experience working as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role within complex technology environments
- Proven experience working within Agile delivery environments, including backlog management, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Excellent analytical, facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse, global and remote stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration, including benefit premiums, payroll deductions, direct billing and GDPR considerations would be beneficial
- Experience working with Health Insurance Technology Solutions and/or Voluntary Benefit programmes would be helpful but not essential
