Do you have the skills needed to lead significant settlement-driven data projects?
We are looking for a driven individual to join our Data Solutions Team, within Aon’s UK Retirement business. This is a team which brings together specialists from across our business to deliver project work for clients.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from any of our UK offices.

What the day will look like
Liaise with multiple stakeholders, including administrators, settlement specialists, actuarial/consulting teams and insurers, to understand requirements, articulate our work and help make decisions.
Act as settlement data expert for a portfolio of client projects, utilising your knowledge of insurer and client requirements.
Help devise strategies for carrying out the required work within the contractual timescales.
Review the work carried out by others to ensure the output is fit for purpose.
Carry out and/or review modelling work, for example to roll data back to the transaction inception date.
Problem-solve a variety of data challenges linked to settlement projects.
Contribute technical ideas and initiatives to support improvements to process and lessons learned.

As a Settlement Data Specialist, you will get the opportunity to interact with a wide range of colleagues and teams within the UK Retirement business.

Individual development within role will be fast paced, with new and interesting challenges presenting themselves through changes in pensions legislation and industry initiatives.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Experience in leading the delivery of risk settlement data projects, and the requirements of insurers e.g. to support bulk data cleanse, buy-ins, buyouts.
Be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to own and deliver the best solutions for Aon.
Be willing to improve processes and adapt to change.
Have strong time-management skills, able to prioritise and manage several projects.
Ability to identify project risks/issues, and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate.
