Join Aon’s prestigious Reinsurance Facultative Broking team as a Senior Broker, supporting our UK LATAM & EMEA Marine portfolio. This hybrid role, based in our London office, offers the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely.

What Will Your Day Look Like?

As a Senior Broker, you’ll play a key role in delivering expert facultative reinsurance solutions. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Collaborating with colleagues and clients on a range of marine facultative reinsurance placements
  • Advising on placement build, coverage options, market capacity, pricing trends, and strategic improvements
  • Supporting the development and delivery of compelling market presentations and broking strategies
  • Identifying efficient placement channels aligned with client guidelines and influencing market outcomes
  • Negotiating terms and conditions with insurers to secure the best possible deals
  • Ensuring compliance with Aon’s Risk Management Framework and policies, including required training and risk mitigation activities

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • Strong technical understanding of client needs and the reinsurance market
  • Demonstrated background in broking and facultative reinsurance
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Confident networker with deep industry connections
  • Skilled in sales and marketing within the insurance sector
  • Analytical approach with proven data interpretation capabilities
  • Confirmed experience in broking and/or underwriting facultative reinsurance, for maritime terminals and harbour facilities
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus
