This hybrid role allows you to work from the London office or remotely, supporting the EMEA Health & Talent Solutions business and contributing to its strategic growth ambitions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support projects and initiatives aligned with the regional strategy, including consulting support, defining the path to goals, delivering organizational structure improvements, and collaborating with external partners.
- Measure and monitor the status of overall strategic delivery progress.
- Lead regular reviews with leadership to determine progress against the strategic plan, define targets and measures of success, conduct data analysis and facilitate action‑oriented discussions.
- Build strong internal relationships to support delivery aligned to agreed timescales and milestones, engaging in strategic discussions with colleagues and stakeholders, providing support and advice, and identifying future strategic opportunities.
- Work with the Head of Strategy to prioritize activity, refine working processes, and ensure continuous improvement while maintaining a high level of delivery.
Essential skills and experience
- Experience of strategy development in an insurance or financial services context, either in consulting or an internal strategy role.
- Experience of project‑based problem solving, handling complex, multifaceted problems with multiple senior stakeholders.
- Leadership – comfortable taking ownership, collaborating, and seeking input to achieve high‑quality outcomes.
- Stakeholder engagement – skilled at building relationships, anticipating needs, and facilitating value‑adding inputs.
- Analytical skills – strong quantitative proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis, and ability to derive insights from both qualitative and quantitative information.
- Communication skills – excellent written and verbal communication, able to synthesize complex issues into clear messages for senior audiences.
- Creativity – open to new ways of working, comfortable with constructive disagreement, and able to shift between bold ideas and focused execution.
