Join Aon’s Structured Credit team as a Senior Structured Credit Broker, delivering innovative credit risk solutions to global clients across financial institutions, commodities, and corporates. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-value transactions, partnering with clients to identify challenges, structure solutions, and deliver successful placements in the global Credit & Political Risk Insurance (CPRI) market, as well as to help drive new opportunity across Aon’s Credit Solutions business and the broader Aon industry practices. This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office.

What the day will look like

As a Senior Structured Credit Broker, you will lead client deal teams to identify and solve complex credit risk challenges across a range of transactional situations.

  • Client Management
    • Build and grow key client relationships, delivering high-quality advisory and tailored solutions
    • Support deal teams to provide best-in-class service and outcomes
    • Lead client strategy and long-term relationship development
  • Broking
    • Lead end-to-end, client-led broking processes across global insurance markets (Lloyd’s, company markets, and multilaterals)
    • Structure and place transactions, including wording negotiation, policy management, and claims support
    • Utilise and develop bespoke platforms developed in-house by the team to enhance client delivery
    • Maintain and develop strong relationships across the insurance market
  • Business Development
    • Contribute to business strategy and growth initiatives
    • Identify, originate, and develop Structured Credit opportunities across EMEA
    • Drive cross-selling opportunities across Aon’s Credit Solutions business and the broader Aon industry practices

The Structured Credit team is responsible for creating value to clients through bespoke solutions. Our clients are Financial Institutions, Commodity Traders, and Corporates. Our approach is to provide a technical service, understanding the detail of our clients’ business and ensuring our solutions are reflective of their needs. You will have the opportunity to influence key business decisions following your own review and investigation, proposing change that will benefit Aon, our colleagues, and our clients. Individual development within role will be fast paced, with new and interesting challenges presenting themselves through new client requirements and different placement structures and product types.

Skills and Experience that lead to success

  • Interest in global affairs and international trade, with willingness to deepen expertise in the credit insurance market
  • Experience in insurance broking, structured credit, or the Credit & Political Risk Insurance (CPRI) market

  • Fluency in one or more foreign languages is advantageous.
