Ready to lead strategic client conversations, expand accounts, and mentor the next generation of consultants in a diverse, international team? This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Amsterdam office.

What the day will look like:

  • Lead strategic engagements for multinational clients across People Risk and Global Benefits, translating data into decisions and outcomes.
  • Orchestrate the management of insured benefit plans globally and optimize spend through local renewals, multinational pooling, global underwriting, and (where appropriate) EB captives.
  • Partner closely with colleagues in Wellbeing, Pay Transparency and EVP, and collaborate across Aon (e.g., Talent Assessment and Compensation) to bring integrated solutions.
  • Guide analysts/consultants to deliver high-quality outputs on time; set the bar on methodology, client deliverables, and ways of working.
  • Drive commercial growth: expand existing relationships, win new clients, shape go-to-market approaches, and represent Aon at relevant market events.

You’ll have international exposure working with clients and Aon teams across the world, with the autonomy to shape solutions and market presence. Our close-knit Amsterdam team operates within a broader EMEA network, creating a multicultural environment with real scope to make your mark. The local team comprises ~14 colleagues (including 4 in Spain) who value collaboration, sparring, and initiative.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • 10–20 years’ relevant experience in consulting (ideally benefits/international HR) or the (global) employee benefits insurance market.
  • Hands-on expertise with multinational pooling, global underwriting, and EB captives.
  • Proven client leadership.
