We are looking for an enthusiastic Insurance Professional to join our dedicated team of Brokers within our Small Business team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within our SME team and contribute to the continued success of our business. This full‑time role will provide you the opportunity to manage an established portfolio of SME clients and play a key role in driving new business growth. What the day will look like:
- You will be contributing to positive client outcomes every day as you focus on managing your Portfolio, educating clients on risk and insurance products, brokering business and converting New Business opportunities to drive new business growth.
- You will be responsible for negotiating insurance policy terms for new and existing clients; including Policy renewals, cross‑sell and upsell of insurance products in line with Aon’s Go to Market strategy, compliance, work processes and workflow.
- Build and manage New Business pipeline to ensure actualization of sales targets and achieve team and individual KPIs on New Business Growth.
- Proactively research the market to develop a good understanding of client needs, industry risk and business environment.
- Engage regularly with key stakeholders and colleagues across the business and participate in training and mentor sessions to develop technical knowledge.
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
- You are an Insurance Professional with General Insurance or Business Insurance experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Driven, passionate and professional disposition with a willingness to contribute to a team environment.
- Customer focused and able to develop and manage relationships with our clients, business partners and teammates to ensure the right outcome for our clients.
- Sales oriented with the ability to build and nurture a long‑term pipeline to support Growth.
- Strong Competency in MS Office applications.
