What the day will look like as a Client Manager:
- Step into a pivotal role as the primary contact for our valued corporate clients, delivering Aon’s comprehensive risk and insurance solutions.
- You’ll oversee a portfolio of large mid-market and multinational clients, working closely with our expert teams to provide tailored advice, bespoke insurance programs and associated risk management and risk transfer services.
- Your day to day may include:
- Managing and strengthening client relationships, becoming their trusted strategic advisor
- Working with clients in diverse sectors such as real estate, retail, health and social care and more
- Growing your portfolio’s revenue by identifying new business opportunities
- Understanding each client’s unique needs and delivering solutions with support from specialist teams
- Introducing Aon’s range of products and services to make a real difference to your clients’ businesses

Skills and experience that will lead to success:
- We’re looking for professionals with proven Client Management experience in the commercial insurance sector, ideally having managed a portfolio of large mid-market clients.
- As a Client Manager at Aon, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our clients, leveraging Aon’s extensive capabilities to address their needs and adapt to evolving risks.
- In this role, you’ll take ownership of delivering exceptional service by driving, coordinating, and managing all aspects of client support, working closely with dedicated service teams and specialist resources.
- Ideally you will have the following skills and experience:
- ACII or equivalent.
- Proven experience in the insurance industry, with experience in client relationship management and the core lines of commercial risks is essential.
- Experience managing large, corporate insurance risks is desirable.
- Commercial understanding of business i.e. market forces, business drivers, market dynamics, competitors and risks, etc.
- Prior experience with sales, fee setting, negotiation and influencing.
- An effective communicator and presenter.
- Client focused with a consultative approach and commitment to excellence in the provision of client service.
