Are you a seasoned Human Capital professional with complementary expertise gained in large-scale, M&A due diligence?

Are you keen to join and play a pivotal role within a prominent, specialist practice where you’ll take the lead on a variety of projects and advisory services in the pre-acquisition and post-deal M&A environments?

If so, then we’d love to hear from you in connection with this phenomenal new opportunity with Aon’s dynamic M&A Transactions Solutions (AMATS) practice . This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our flagship London office.

What the day will look like
  • Leading end to end Human Capital engagements across full deal life cycle including due-diligence and implementation/integration advisory projects for private equity and corporate clients in support of their M&A processes.
  • Driving project management engagement including preparing client proposals.
  • Collaborating closely with clients and other top tier advisers.
  • Coordinating internal Aon expertise, resources and solutions across various practices and geographies and building an internal network.
  • Determining opportunities for cross-selling other Aon products, services, and solutions.
  • Facilitating post-close implementation opportunities in our wider business.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Demonstrable experience supporting M&A transactions, including HR due-diligence, integration, and post-deal harmonisation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee benefits and total rewards, focusing on the UK/EMEA and exposure to global programmes.
  • Ability to analyse sophisticated qualitative and quantitative data and translate it into clear, commercially relevant insights.
  • Combines attention to detail with the ability to think strategically and advise at a deal level.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage and influence senior collaborators and clients.
  • Experience with pension and benefits structures, including Defined Benefit schemes and relevant financial standards (e.g. IAS19 / ASC 715), with desirable actuarial or C&B qualifications.
