Location: Hybrid – London office 2–3 days per week, offering flexibility and balance between home and office working.

What the day will look like:
- Lead the product governance process and maintain a strong control environment.
- Embed governance practices across product management, sales, and operations.
- Support the Product Leader and Product Committee chair with decision-making.
- Contribute to product and distribution strategies and help implement changes.
- Partner with insurers to ensure obligations are met and raise issues where needed.
- Manage a team of Product Analysts and Specialists to develop new solutions.
- Maintain oversight of products and conduct regular reviews.
- Deliver performance metrics, risk indicators, KPIs, and reporting.
- Collaborate with product teams, market security, and other stakeholders.

- Proven experience in Insurance Governance within a similar transferable role such as product governance, risk controls, or compliance in the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks relating to product governance and control environments.
- Knowledge of Consumer Duty regulations (desirable).
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Leadership experience with a focus on team development.
- Analytical skills and experience in delivering KPIs and governance reporting.
- Collaborative approach with practical problem‑solving skills.
