Aon’s Private Risk Management group(APRM) is hiring for an Account Executive/Broker III.
Aon Private Risk Management (APRM) designs, implements, and services customized personal risk management strategies for High-Net-Worth individuals and families. We are seeking an emerging leader with confirmed peer market relationships and emerging senior client relationships to join our team. The Account Executive III will provide expertise in identifying and servicing the needs of high-net-worth individuals and developing custom solutions.
This is a virtual position based out of the West Coast Region.

What the day will look like
- Leads an assigned book of high-net-worth personal insurance clients with personal insurance portfolios of varying size and complexity. May also include Group Excess Liability programs.
- Brokers and maintains required insurance policies and risk management solutions on behalf of clients.
- Conducts annual reviews for clients ahead of key renewal dates.
- Coordinates all client related billing matters and maintains aged receivables report.
- Works with Client Services team and assigned Coordinator to process changes and other client requests in a timely manner.
- Maintains an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assists in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.
- Engages internal and external resources as required in order to Empower Results on behalf of our clients.
- Achieves assigned annual revenue growth and retention metrics. Supports growth of book of business through rounding of accounts and through new business production.
- Meets the time service standard: returning a phone call within 24 hours and responding to email by the end of the day.
- Establishes and maintains significant working relationships with insurers, clients, referral sources and colleagues through regular contact and interaction.
- Maintains awareness of all insurance carrier partner products, services and systems.
- Fully applies internal client management system to maintain policies, client correspondence, coordinate billing activities and handle client related tasks.
- Achieves assigned visibility and disclosure and compliance goals.
- Champions innovative solutions to drive success for our clients.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Property and Casualty license is required.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in personal lines insurance and risk management.
- Experience working with High-Net-Worth clients.
- Solid negotiation and proven technical proficiency demonstrating capabilities to build innovative solutions.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance business and assigned clients’ needs as well as all major lines of business.
- Proficiency in PC office products such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Proficiency in utilizing carrier management platforms and evidence of ability to become proficient in the use of Aon specific software tools.
- Appropriate insurance designations such as: CPCU, CIC, CPRM and/or ARM completed or in process is preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $106,300 to $130,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
