Operations Manager – UK – Commercial Risk

Aon are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to join our team which is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Chelmsford / or London office. The Operations Manager will be primarily responsible for providing oversight and supporting the operational performance and processes of the Commercial Risk London business units.

What the day will look like

  • Assisting in the monthly operational governance process, and produce output suitable for inclusion
  • Escalation, tracking and completion of actions raised in audit and assurance work
  • Ensuring policies and FCA requirements are adhered to, such as E&O management, Business Continuity Plans, File Reviews, key KPIs
  • Understanding, oversee and support the client teams with credit control
  • Assisting in the delivery of successful operational and business related change projects and process improvements as needed
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver ABS initiatives
  • Working with outsourcing partners to deliver business results
  • Identifying and implementing of key change projects that improves operational efficiency or regulatory adherence, including project management, and other ad-hoc support as required
  • Responsible for working in accordance with the AON UK Limited Risk Management Framework and compliance with the AON UK Limited policies including participation in the management of risks (including the completion of mandatory training) that may adversely impact the business interests or reputation of the Group Company
  • Managing key Partners and developing relationships with business colleagues
