Do you want to work for a team providing risk solutions to businesses across many sectors? Does making new contacts and developing client relationships at a high level appeal? We are looking for a Business Development Manager - a hybrid role with flexibility to work virtually and from our Leicester office. This role will be supporting our Corporate Insurance team in the Midlands.

What The Day Will Look Like
- Working closely with branch management, developing, monitoring and growing a new business pipeline.
- Grow a local network, attending events as required.
- Develop an understanding and appreciation of prospect’s objectives and requirements, including the understanding of financials and business strategy.
- Establish potential needs and articulate Aon’s risk management solutions in a professional way, using Aon’s sector knowledge, such that we become a logical alternative.
- Using and sharing information sector knowledge.
- Working with Project Management and Broking, managing the new business process, deliver an initial proposition - involve overseas Aon offices where required.
- Liaise with the Claims to establish proposition for new clients.
- Participation and leadership of service proposals.
- Play a significant role in customisation and quality control of propositions and materials.
- Developing good working relationships with Aon specialists, Client Management and services.
- Compliance with Aon Corporate’s Business Rules and Statutory/FCA regulations.
- Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests of reputation of any Group company.
How This Opportunity Is Different
Clients will be national, multinational or sometimes global; You will need to connect with CEO/ CFOs or Risk Managers to be able to offer an Aon fully tailored approach. You must also develop a strong Aon internal network to understand and articulate the many innovative solutions available. Corporate clients require bespoke insurance programmes, associated risk management and risk transfer services. Besides being the insurance broker, we give clients claims service and advice on risk management across most industries.
