We’re hiring! Join Aon’s prestigious Reinsurance Facultative Broking team as a Senior Broker, supporting our UK LATAM & EMEA Marine portfolio. This hybrid role, based in our London office, offers the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely.

What Will Your Day Look Like?
As a Senior Broker, you’ll play a key role in delivering expert facultative reinsurance solutions. Your day-to-day will include:
- Collaborating with colleagues and clients on a range of marine facultative reinsurance placements
- Advising on placement build, coverage options, market capacity, pricing trends, and strategic improvements
- Supporting the development and delivery of compelling market presentations and broking strategies
- Identifying efficient placement channels aligned with client guidelines and influencing market outcomes
- Negotiating terms and conditions with insurers to secure the best possible deals
- Ensuring compliance with Aon’s Risk Management Framework and policies, including required training and risk mitigation activities
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
- Strong technical understanding of client needs and the reinsurance market
- Demonstrated background in broking and facultative reinsurance
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Confident networker with deep industry connections
- Skilled in sales and marketing within the insurance sector
- Analytical approach with proven data interpretation capabilities
- Confirmed experience in broking and/or underwriting facultative reinsurance, for maritime terminals and harbour facilities
- Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus
