Do you have the skills needed to lead the technical delivery on a broad range of pension data and calculation projects? We are looking for a driven individual to join our Data Solutions Team, within Aon’s UK Retirement business. This is a team which brings together specialists from across our business to deliver project work for clients in areas such as data cleanse, benefit rectification, GMP rectification and system implementation. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from any of our UK offices.

What the day will look like
- Work out what needs to be done in technical and complex pension transformation projects, and make it happen.
- Help devise strategies for carrying out the required pension data or calculation work within the agreed timescales, and work through junior colleagues to deliver.
- Manage the expectation of senior stakeholders.
- Carry out and/or review bespoke pension data modelling work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements.
- Developing others in the team.
- Leading or inputting into process improvement activities.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- An understanding of UK pension schemes with knowledge of how individual member calculations are performed, and experience of delivering bulk pension data and/or calculation projects.
- Have experience in leading or significantly influencing pension transformation projects. E.g. GMP Rectification/Reconciliation, GMP Equalisation, Risk Settlement Data Cleanse, Benefit Remediation projects.
- Proficient in building/amending/reviewing Excel calculation models.
- Ability to identify project risks/issues, and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate.
- Be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to drive things independently.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with various teams and senior stakeholders.
