The Financial Services Group (FSG) specialises in areas such as professional liability, pension trust liability, employment practices liability, fidelity insurance, kidnap & ransom, professional indemnity insurance (E&O), and multinational programmes. Furthermore, the FSG works closely with teams for cyber solutions and credit insurance to ensure seamless consulting and insurance in key product areas.
To strengthen our broker team in Zurich, we are looking for a (Senior) Broker Construction (f/m/d).
Your main tasks:
- Risk management and consulting on coverage strategies and concepts for national and international clients;
- Conducting tenders for national and international insurance programmes as well as project insurances of all sizes;
- Developing contract analyses, optimisation opportunities, and insurance concepts;
- Presenting negotiation results to clients, participating in risk inspections domestically and abroad, and attending on-site meetings;
- Client support;
- Negotiating with insurers;
- New client acquisition;
- Maintaining the insurer network;
- Consulting internal and external clients;
- Working in project teams.
Your profile:
- Completed training in the insurance industry or commercial training with relevant further education in the insurance sector (e.g., specialist certificate, CIB, ARM, etc.);
- Several years of professional experience with insurers or brokers, preferably in construction or technical insurance. Experience as an insurance broker is an advantage;
- Knowledge and experience with construction and technical insurances, CH-Domestic, foreign or international products. Knowledge and experience with relevant construction and liability standards (SIA, etc.) is an advantage;
- Experience in dealing with national and/or international insurance contracts;
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken; French or Italian is an advantage;
- Communicative and analytical personality; solution- and client-oriented, proactive service mentality;
- Ability to work independently as well as in a specialist team, with account executives and in project teams.
