This is a Hybrid position, with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our office in Atlanta, GA.

What the day will look like
Client Advocate colleagues help clients understand, manage and transfer risk through innovative solutions. The role is immediately client-facing, offering exposure to high-level executives and decision-makers at clients and reinsurance providers. Advocates work on multiple accounts as part of a larger broker team which requires strong communication and collaboration skills. Candidates will develop comprehensive reinsurance market and industry knowledge while working on a variety of lines of business. Over time, colleagues will have increasing opportunities for domestic and international travel to client and reinsurer meetings and to take on expanded roles in developing strategic and innovative solutions for clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Support broking teams in servicing reinsurance clients, including developing innovative solutions, leading consulting projects, and strategic advice to address client needs.
- Clear brokers submission for new/renewal clients in FacGSM system and file the client submissions and broker documentations to the electronic filing system.
- Oversee electronic filing records by filing quote disclosure documents received from the broker.
- Manage FacGSM firm order binding process: review and sign binders and send them back to the broker for final review and signature (DocuSign) then send to final version to Reinsurers and Clients.
- Facilitate collection of policy details (i.e. reinsurers' confirmation to bind coverage and reference number, client's policy number and policy issuing company).
- Prepare, review and sign final Evidence of Coverage in FacGSM and then send to broker for final review and signature.
- Communicate with and participate in reinsurer meetings and discussions regarding client program placements.
- Prepare formal reinsurance submission materials and executive-facing presentations.
- Assist in the technical analysis of client information.
- Collaborate with various supporting teams within our Reinsurance Solution such as catastrophe modeling, actuarial and contract wording to bring the best of Aon to clients.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Proven analytical skills - prior analytical and problem-solving experience from academic and/or business environment.
- 3+ years relevant work experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products, with intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Access is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple assignments, work well with minimal supervision and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, a related field or equivalent years of industry experience required.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000 to $90,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
