Join us in a role where you'll lead the product governance process across all solution lines, with a particular focus on our Risk Capital business. Your expertise will help us deliver regulated products that comply with UK standards, align with risk appetite, and set the business up for success.

Location: Hybrid – London office 2–3 days per week, offering flexibility and balance between home and office working.

What the day will look like:
- Lead the product governance process and maintain a strong control environment.
- Embed governance practices across product management, sales, and operations.
- Support the Product Leader and Product Committee chair with decision-making.
- Contribute to product and distribution strategies and help implement changes.
- Partner with insurers to ensure obligations are met and raise issues where needed.
- Manage a team of Product Analysts and Specialists to develop new solutions.
- Maintain oversight of products and conduct regular reviews.
- Deliver performance metrics, risk indicators, KPIs, and reporting.
- Collaborate with product teams, market security, and other stakeholders.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:
- Proven experience in Insurance Governance within a similar transferable role such as product governance, risk controls, or compliance in the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks relating to product governance and control environments.
- Knowledge of Consumer Duty regulations (desirable).
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Leadership experience with a focus on team development.
- Analytical skills and experience in delivering KPIs and governance reporting.
- Collaborative approach with practical problem‐solving skills.
