Project Leader Human Capital Transaction Advisory Services
Are you a seasoned Human Capital professional with complementary expertise gained in large-scale, M&A due diligence? Are you keen to join and play a pivotal role within a prominent, specialist practice where you'll take the lead on a variety of projects and advisory services in the pre-acquisition and post-deal M&A environments? This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our flagship London office.

What the day will look like:
- Advise private equity and corporate clients on complex people-related transaction matters.
- Lead end-to-end Human Capital due diligence engagements, from scope and budget definition, data analysis, report writing and presentation of findings to clients.
- Provide support on integration, implementation and post-deal harmonisation projects as required.
- Manage the successful delivery of client engagements, within budgets and timelines.
- Lead, coach and develop junior team members, fostering technical excellence and high-performance delivery.
- Coordinate Aon expertise, resources and solutions across practices and geographies to deliver integrated client outcomes.
- Build strong client relationships, identify opportunities for cross-selling and post-close support.
- Contribute to business development activities, including proposal support and client pursuits.
- Ensure delivery quality, commercial performance and compliance with risk management requirements.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:
- Considerable experience in HR M&A consulting, supporting private equity and corporate clients across domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Proven experience leading multi-country Human Capital due diligence engagements, including due diligence report writing and client presentations.
- Working knowledge of pensions and employee benefits is desirable.
- Experience in integration, implementation and post-deal harmonisation programmes is advantageous.
- Strategic and commercially minded, with strong analytical and critical reasoning skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Confident communicator, skilled at influencing and constructively challenging senior stakeholders across cultures.
- Proven ability to lead complex global projects, delivering on time, on budget and in line with risk requirements.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes under pressure.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with a passion for leveraging AI, technology and new ways of working to enhance client delivery.
- Experience supporting US-based clients is desirable, with the flexibility to collaborate across time zones as required.
- Proactive, flexible and can-do attitude. Ability to get things done.
