Aon is looking for a Director of Strategic Engagement! Aon Inpoint provides advisory services and strategic implementation support to Aon Inpoint's clients. This includes many of the most prestigious insurance companies in the Global Property, Casualty and Health & Benefit (re)insurance market. Through our consultative approach, we help our clients to navigate a fluid market environment to drive profitable and balanced growth and business results. We have privileged access to Aon's global network of (re)insurance industry authorities to derive outstanding and compelling insights into the sources of competitive advantage in our industry.
A Director's responsibilities include:
- Retaining and building existing client relationships as well as actively seeking new relationships and business development opportunities.
- Engaging with clients to identify their strategic needs and priorities and develop potential solutions.
- Serving as the project or account manager for the account team, implementing action plans and monitoring progress.
- Quickly and efficiently using networks of people, standard processes and Aon assets to generate compelling insights, analytics and strategic solutions.
- Actively contributing to building proficient teams, fostering development and learning to cultivate talent.
- Leading business development activities and collaborating with colleagues in the identification and creation of new opportunities.
To Be Considered Qualified for This Role:
- 10-15 years of confirmed experience within the Insurance Sector is required with experience in selling advisory and engagement services to clients. This would ideally be in Financial Services sector, and leading sophisticated international account teams.
- Highly developed social skills, team leadership, relationship building, communication and international mentality.
- Strong experience in people management, including performance management, colleague development, recruitment, and extensive experience in senior account management in an international environment.
- Ability to demonstrate personal qualities of planning, commitment, resolving problems, decisiveness, broad business proficiency and commitment to personal development.
- Available and willing to travel 20% of the time.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office applications; Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint being extremely valuable.

Pay transparency laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $151,900 to $220,000 USD annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
