What the day will look like:

  • Direct and mentor a team of business development support specialists.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration and client success.
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of closing new business opportunities, including technical selling and placement with insurers.
  • Partner with senior brokers and growth teams to structure competitive proposals and solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for key clients during the placement process.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of broking services aligned with client expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance placement efficiency and win rates.
  • Monitor market trends and maintain strong relationships with insurers to secure favorable terms.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all placements.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in broking or insurance business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of insurance markets and placement processes.
  • Proven experience in broking or insurance placement with strong technical selling skills.
  • Leadership capability to manage and develop a team.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
