What the day will look like:
- Advisory and delivery of TL solutions (primarily W&I insurance) on M&A transactions (whether Asia-based or offshore).
- Placement of W&I insurance solutions for M&A transactions.
- Engagement of external distribution channels (lawyers, investment banks, fund managers, accounting firms and private equity firms) and internal Aon client teams to develop relationships and deliver TL solutions to clients and prospects.
- Preparation of presentation materials and collation of data and other collateral for business development and deal specific use.
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
- Technical M&A experience from leading financial services providers (financial advisors, investment banking, etc.), law firms or accounting firms, with knowledge and understanding of how M&A transactions are conducted and, in particular, the due diligence process.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to work with others under pressure and to resolve conflict in a constructive manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to effectively and confidently present to clients and other audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
