Aon McLagan are currently recruiting a Consultant to join our Data Solutions team. You will be primarily responsible for relationship management and data‑led reward consulting projects for the financial services sector. This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work virtually and from our Hong Kong office.

What the day will look like:
- Manages reward product in the broader financial services domain comprising of compensation and benefits survey production, data analysis, and insight generation.
- Supports incremental improvements on data product timing & quality, processes, and other deliverables.
- Assists in the delivery of advisory work requiring preparation of requests for proposals (RFPs), draft presentations/reports, data analysis and interpretation.
- Owning and developing client relationships, including client service and finding opportunities where we can provide value added services.
- Understands client segment trends and integrates that knowledge into product management.
- Collaborates across teams to develop client solutions.
- Contribute to enforcing a positive, productive, and engaged Aon culture.

- Solid understanding of and interest in financial services sector.
- A thorough understanding of compensation and the issues affecting reward structures.
- Ability to master a specific area of expertise.
- Would be considered an expert and the go‑to person for either an internal process or a market sector.
- Be a person that more junior staff can learn from and takes a proactive role in sharing experience and expertise.
- Driven in client service, origination, and delivers results orientated solutions to often complex problems.
- Able to develop business by understanding a client’s requirements and tailoring approach.
- Manages client relationships utilising resources where appropriate (junior staff, senior experts, technology).
- Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise requests and managing client’s expectations.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proactive, takes initiative and able to work independently and on a team while handling multiple projects.
- Degree qualified, preferably in a numerate discipline or equivalent.
- Experience with data analysis and a range of modelling techniques (advanced Excel skills preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal skills including strong presentation skills, both verbal and written (advanced PowerPoint skills would be an advantage).
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
