We are looking for a People Advisory Consultant to join our Talent Solutions team in KL, Malaysia. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from the office.

What the day will look like

  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management
    • Manage relationships with senior HR leaders and business stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on people and organizational priorities.
    • Facilitate strategic discussions and workshops to understand client needs and co-create solutions.
    • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and delivery excellence.
  • Project Delivery & Execution
    • Lead end-to-end delivery of Advisory projects, including:
    • People Strategy
    • Skills Framework
    • Organization Design & Job Architecture
    • Strategic Workforce Planning
    • HR Transformation
    • Change Management & Culture Transformation
    • Human Capital Due Diligence & Post-Merger Integration
  • Oversee project teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Apply structured problem-solving and data-driven insights to develop actionable recommendations.
  • Sales & Business Development Support
    • Partner with the Malaysia practice leaders and regional teams to identify opportunities and contribute to account growth.
    • Support proposal development, pricing, and scoping for new engagements.
    • Help introduce Aon's broader Talent Solutions offerings to clients where relevant.
  • Collaboration & Capability Building
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions across service lines.
    • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture.
    • Participate in internal initiatives to enhance methodologies and service offerings.
  • Skills and experience that will lead to success

    • 8–10 years of experience in HR consulting, organizational development, or related advisory roles.
    • Strong ability to manage senior stakeholders and deliver complex projects.
    • Solid understanding of HR strategy, organizational design, skills framework, job architecture and workforce planning.
    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Based in Kuala Lumpur, with willingness to travel regionally.
