What the day will look like
You will be responsible for crafting and delivering Aon’s PCCM broking strategy in the Global Broking Centre. You will ensure excellent results for clients, network offices, and carrier partners. Additionally, you will promote balanced growth and lead the PCCM broking change programme.
- Working with the Global Broking Centre CBO to support initiatives for PCCM aligned to the overarching broking strategy and ensuring effective execution
- Contributing to and participating in the PCCM leadership team to help set strategy and deliver growth through comprehensive broking levers
- Leading the PCCM broking community, coaching colleagues to better performance and building PCCM, GBC and Aon IQ across the broader broking team
- Providing placement data insights for PCCM to enable trend analysis and portfolio optimisation, and driving a data‑driven broking proposition
- Developing and leading PCCM broking initiatives and strategies, monitoring and managing all PCCM broking targets and reviewing monthly performance
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with key PCCM carriers and internal collaborators (including Inpoint, AUM and retail teams) to bring the best of Aon to clients and prospects
- Taking a lead role on behalf of PCCM in responding to key initiatives launched by strategic carrier partners, in conjunction with Inpoint
- Leading and championing the implementation and usage of new PCCM systems and processes to modernise the operating model
- Working with the Data & Insights team and PCCM broking community to find opportunities to develop new PCCM products and services
- Ensuring the client is at the heart of all propositions and practice, and that network/clients receive best‑in‑class service from our broking teams
- Working proactively and collaboratively with PCCM brokers and network partners on RFP/tender and other major client opportunities
- Assisting with talent acquisition to meet future capability requirements and driving development of high‑potential colleagues via development tools, secondments, assignments, mentoring, and coaching
- Working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and policies, including active participation in risk management and completion of mandatory training

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Consistent track record as a successful, industry‑recognised senior broking practitioner with strong commercial pricing competence and deep London market experience
- Strong data and analytics capability, with the ability to bring insights to bear for business results, portfolio optimisation and strategic decision‑making
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to deal effectively with global clients, senior internal partners, carriers, and external bodies
- Thorough understanding of product governance and FCA requirements/standards, with the ability to set and uphold high standards within PCCM
- Experience of leading teams, driving a high‑performing culture, and supporting wording/contract negotiations with insurers to deliver better outcomes for clients
