Are you a Claims Handler with experience gained in handling UK commercial claims ideally with exposure to and knowledge of Professional Indemnity? About the role
As a PI Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims on behalf of your allocation of clients. Yours will be a key role in ensuring all claims progress without delay and to the optimum conclusion. Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring prompt intimation of claims to relevant insurer(s), establishing applicable coverage, and assisting client through any required disclosure or data gathering.
- Co-ordinating claims from FNOL to settlement, advocating on behalf of your client and ensuring their interests are protected throughout.
- Providing expert guidance, technical analysis, and support to clients to facilitate the smooth progression of claims.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key client contacts.
- Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters and other stakeholders including internal servicing contacts.
- Accurate management of electronic claim files, processing all correspondence and diaries within SLA.
- Where required, attend claims review meetings, and produce up to date reports containing current claims experience.
