Legal Advisor will work as a part of the Warsaw and Krakow-based Aon Law team, supporting a range of English-language contracts that facilitate Aon’s business across multiple regions, including EMEA. This role reports to the Head of Legal based in Warsaw and may be performed from our offices in Warsaw or Krakow.

What the day will look like:
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts for Aon entities in a domestic and international context.
- Providing legal advice and support to business colleagues on a range of contractual matters, including privacy terms.
- Working with the business on client related issues such as tenders and cross border contracting structures.
- Collaborating with the Aon Law team, business units, and other support functions (Compliance, Data Privacy, etc.) to ensure legal risk is managed appropriately.
- Proactively engaging with management to identify risks and matters requiring escalation.
- Supporting team infrastructure such as updating precedents and playbooks, rationalizing templates, and arranging, delivering, and attending training.
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
- Solid experience as an in-house counsel in a multinational organisation or as an associate in a reputable law firm.
- Hands-on experience with foreign law-governed English-language contracts, providing commercial legal advice, drafting and negotiating in the English language.
- Fluent English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, escalating concerns appropriately.
- High level of self-direction and demonstration of good judgment.
- Ability to create and deliver practical solutions that appropriately balance commercial objectives and legal risks.
- Ability to independently manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
- Prior relevant experience in the financial services sector, including with respect to insurance regulations and laws, is an asset.
