Aon are currently recruiting an Executive Recruitment Director to join our team in the UK. This Director level role within the Global Talent Acquisition team partners closely with Executive Leadership Team members on highly confidential searches. As a trusted recruiting professional with a diverse external talent network you are expected to identify and prospect senior level talent for the firm.
What the day will look like:
- Partner closely with the Global Head of Talent Acquisition
- Provide strategic consultative talent acquisition guidance to senior leadership through developing strong partnership to understand strategic, financial objectives and hiring needs
- Full cycle recruiting with a consultative approach
- Retained search firm relationship management (e.g. Statement of Work, MSA review)
- Partner with key stakeholders (e.g. People Org Directors, compensation, talent management) to ensure best in class service levels
- Implement and embed talent strategies to identify and attract diverse executive talent
- Manage highly confidential talent searches providing both market and candidate insights
- Work with TA Sourcing and Research team in the development of senior level talent prospects
- Develop comprehensive talent market maps as needed
- Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
- Executive presence and influencing skills
- Knowledge of talent recruitment and hiring process best practices
- Validated senior level sourcing experience
- Past senior leadership and executive leadership interaction and program management
- Senior project management experience
- Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships at all levels of an organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, consistently demonstrating a high degree of professionalism
- Experience in building diversity recruitment strategies and partnering with Talent Acquisition and hiring teams to execute on that strategy
- Ability to work independently within a fast-paced, team-focused environment
- Proven track record to lead multiple projects and deadlines, prioritise various demands, and identify/solve problems creatively
- A creative thinker who brings innovative ideas, new perspectives and enthusiasm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar products and in navigating social media websites
- Degree qualified or equivalent
