Join Aon as a Senior Finance Business Partner, working with leaders across our Human Capital business to elevate financial planning, sharpen commercial decision-making, simplify messaging and support growth. This hybrid role can be based in Epsom, London or New York with flexibility to work from home.

What the day will look like
As the key link between Finance and the business, you’ll lead month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while partnering closely with senior leaders to influence strategy and performance. You will also:
- Build strong relationships with Human Capital leaders and coordinate finance activity across their functions, including participation in Executive Committees.
- Provide forward-looking analysis, challenge assumptions and ensure plans align to commercial goals.
- Track financial performance and communicate key metrics, risks and opportunities to senior executives, including the Global Human Capital CFO.
- Lead and enhance performance reporting, pipeline insights, operational metrics and benchmarking.
- Act as the finance partner for the Employee Experience business, supporting global teams as needed.
- Collaborate with Krakow and global finance teams to deliver high-quality reporting, forecasting and insights.
- Take ownership over key strategic projects within Human Capital, working with key stakeholders across the business.
- Improve transparency and consistency across global models, reporting and governance processes.
- Apply strong analytical and commercial acumen to identify issues, and develop solutions that improve performance and support strategic decision making.
- Ensure strong financial controls, revenue recognition and compliance with Aon frameworks.
- Identify and remove operational barriers, simplify processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Champion best practices and support automation to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
- Coach finance colleagues across regions and ensure smooth team coverage during peak periods.
- Work in line with the Aon UK Risk Management Framework and complete all mandatory training.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Strong understanding of business strategy and ability to communicate financial impact to senior leaders.
- Proven finance business partnering experience within a complex or global organisation.
- Expertise across management reporting, forecasting, financial controls, revenue recognition and strategic planning.
- Confident influencing skills and the ability to challenge constructively.
- Proactive approach with strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
- Skilled at building relationships across matrixed, multi-regional teams across multiple time zones.
- Advanced Excel capability and experience with modelling and data analysis.
- Experience of cross border accounting would be beneficial but not essential.
