Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our newly created SME team in a hybrid role that combines the responsibilities of a Team Leader and a Consultant. This player-manager position will involve managing a portfolio of clients while leading a team of SME Employee Benefits Consultants to deliver exceptional client outcomes and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor for a portfolio of clients, providing expert consulting advice in Health and Risk Benefits.
- Lead and mentor a team of consultants, setting performance expectations and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure retention and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions and maximize client value.
- Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-ones, ensuring alignment with client outcomes and business goals.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory requirements to support compliance and innovation.
- Champion Aon’s Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and support professional development within the team.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic planning, accurate forecasting, and effective pipeline management.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven expertise in Health & Benefits consulting, with a sound understanding of both risk and healthcare.
- Strong people management and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial acumen and ability to plan and execute growth strategies.
- Knowledge of FCA requirements and standards.
- Experience working with SME clients is preferred.
