Client Director, Health, Aged Care and Community ServicesThe Global & Corporate segment specialises in the provision of Aon client service delivery to large and complex clients, generally serving the top 500 public and private companies in Australia, including large government clients.

This is an opportunity that has come about due to some changes in personnel, and the continued growth plans for these sectors.

As a Client Director you will be accountable to maintain the growth of the portfolio and ensure retention and team leadership is maintained across the growing business. This role will be accountable to deliver sustained new business, retention of existing clients, and leadership stability across the team.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Aon Australia offices.

What the day will look likeThe individual will help grow the Health and Aged Care and Community Services sector.

Key responsibilities will include:Managing, growing and retaining a portfolio of key corporate clients

Designing and executing targeted sales strategies to ensure profitable growth

Driving innovation through understanding current and future client needs in the context of market dynamics

Driving and supporting the unmatched talent plan and contributing to a positive increase in engagement levels across business by leading, coaching and motivating the team members

Identifying process improvement opportunities to ensure service standards are continually exceeded

Mobilising resources from the Aon network to deliver on client commitments

Achieving budgeted revenue for retention, and growth on existing and new business

Skills and experience that will lead to successProven leadership, people development and team building/recruitment success

Strong communication both written and verbal

Excellent networking and relationship management skills allowing you to be a prominent member of the insurance community

Ability to manage both upwards and downwards, influencing and engaging with significant internal and external stakeholders

Strong negotiating and influencing skills

Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Ability to collaborate effectively with and influence a broad range of internal and external stakeholders

Commitment to delivering exceptional client value through expertise and innovation

Self-disciplined and organized with a motivation to work to tight deadlines

Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office suite of programs i.e. Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Strong technical understanding of a broad range of Insurance products and risk solutions

Prior experience in the Healthcare/Aged Care sectors would be ideal

Experience in contributing to business development initiatives

Proven commercial experience providing analysis on revenue, profit and PTI

Relevant Industry Degree would be advantageous

Tier 1 qualification / Diploma of General Insurance (Broking)
