Aon is recruiting a Senior Broker, Reinsurance Treaty, to join our Specialty Casualty team in London.

What The Day Will Look Like

  • Working with both Specialty Casualty and MGA focused teams in London to further grow the wider Aon Re MGA proposition.
  • Leading client facing MGA placement teams at renewal, delivering an orderly renewal with the best terms.
  • Production of new business, in London and working across the wider Aon MGA network.
  • Continued servicing of all clients throughout the year, responding efficiently to any requests.
  • Delivering the best of Aon to clients, engaging with wider teams and offerings across the Aon group.
  • Showcasing the Specialty Casualty’s team analytical trend studies and market analysis to both prospects and new clients.
  • Continued engagement with the MGA capacity market globally, to understand current supply.
  • Working pro-actively within the Specialty Casualty’s team’s client and market list to source new capacity for MGA opportunities.
  • Cross-selling and cross production of opportunities with existing MGAs without a long-tail offering.

Skills and Experience

  • At least five years’ experience working in the MGA market.
  • Technical casualty and/or financial lines (re)insurance market knowledge.
  • Strong London network of carrier relationships, as well as existing MGA relationships globally.
  • Analytical skills, strong understanding of actuarial outputs to underpin a technical broker.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Client centric focus, with the ability to lead teams as well as work with clients and Aon teams overseas.
  • Ability to work in an environment which evolves around fast service levels and key deadlines.
