What the day will look like
- You will be the dedicated reporting specialist in the UK COO Office, elevating the quality, consistency and efficiency of governance and Board reporting across ABS UK.
- You will run monthly cycles, respond to ad hoc priorities and turn diverse inputs into concise, actionable insight for senior audiences.
- Lead monthly governance and risk reporting cycles, dashboards and KPIs.
- Create clear Board and committee packs, consolidating inputs and highlighting actionable insight.
- Be the UK COO’s primary reporting partner, collaborating with COOs, the UK Chief of Staff and senior leaders.
- Assure quality and regulatory alignment, constructively challenging submissions with governance, risk and compliance partners.
- Drive process improvement and automation to streamline MI and support change initiatives.
How this opportunity is different
You will have sustained senior visibility and real impact. This suits someone with experience in an FCA regulated environment and strong analytical reporting skills, potentially from company secretariat, governance, compliance or audit. Your work will inform Board and Operating Committee decisions, and you will have the remit to modernise how MI is captured, automated and presented across ABS UK. It is ideal for someone who sets standards, simplifies processes and communicates insight with clarity.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Experience in insurance and/or financial services producing senior level governance or Board reporting.
- Strong data and analytical skills to interrogate MI and KPIs, spot trends and challenge constructively.
- Excellent written and presentation skills, confident executive storytelling in PowerPoint.
- Credible stakeholder manager, effective at senior levels and collaborative across COO, risk and compliance.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365, experience improving and automating reporting processes, awareness of FCA regulatory context.
