Broker – UK Commercial Risks, London/Redhill Are you an experienced UK commercial insurance professional with an in depth knowledge of the core classes of business and the carrier marketplace too ? Are you an accomplished communicator, negotiator and influencer with the ability to secure the best possible client outcomes at all times ? If so, then we’d love to hear from you in connection with this specialist placement role offered on a hybrid basis with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London and Redhill offices. What the day will look like In this wide and varied role you’ll be collaborating regularly with colleagues in our Client Service teams and will also work closely with the Clients directly to understand and appreciate each risk and the outcomes required. Accountabilities will include: Implementation of the Retail Broking Strategy and procedures Handle all broking activities for portfolio of clients and prospects ensuring that Aon is never outbroked Manage trading relationships with insurers Analyse the insurance market and cascading information back to the client service team Improving the quality and efficiency of the broking process How this opportunity is different This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, innovative and dynamic regional broking team and to become involved in the placement of some diverse, large commercial UK, European and Global insurance portfolios. Working from our London and Redhill Office you’ll be responsible for the placement of a wide range of core -commercial risks . Skills and experience that will lead to success A detailed knowledge of commercial insurance market practices and dynamics including an understanding of the financial issues that drive the market The ability to work optimally with colleagues in an environment where success often depends on influencing skill rather than direct control. An effective and reasonable negotiator with an understanding of the importance of sustainability.
