Property Broker
Aon is recruiting a Broker for our International Property team based in London, part of the Global Broking Centre. The role involves coordinating and contributing to marketing and negotiation of Property business within the Lloyd’s and Company Markets on a day‑to‑day basis in accordance with the Marketing Strategy. It is a hybrid role with a mix of office‑based and home‑based working.
What the day will look like
Client / Network Engagement
- Relationship development/management
- Quoting terms, and completing tenders/RFPs
- Presenting terms
- Binding coverage
London Market Broking
- Submission drafting
- Face‑to‑face Lloyds Broking, and e‑trading
- Quoting and placing business within the London market including facilities
- Relationship development/management
General Administration
- File maintenance and management including marketing sheets
- Document/MRC/MRCe review and completion
- ECM/critical document/KPI management
- The use of PPL and other London market / Aon proprietary systems
- Supporting premium processing/invoicing and monitoring settlement
Responsibilities also include working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and compliance with Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in risk management and completion of required training that may affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

Skills and Experience
- Professional experience in the insurance sector is preferred but not required.
- Effective communication, presentation and negotiating skills.
- Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes.
- Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service.
- Ability to interpret and use data optimally.
- Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation.
