We’re hiring for a Commercial Account Handler to support our growing Insurance team! To keep up with our growth in the UK and Ireland, we’re looking for a dedicated Account Handler to join our dynamic Insurance Services team. Putting people first is at the heart of everything we do, and that extends to our clients as well as our employees. As one of our Account Handlers, you’ll be supporting the administration of client’s insurance requirements including general enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, obtaining quotations and account procedures.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • High level inter-personal skills with an ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships
  • Computer literacy
  • Report writing experience
  • Planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Confidence in being able to communicate to people with various levels of knowledge - face to face, over the telephone and in writing
  • Knowledge of Acturis
  • Experience of working as an Account Handler in a similar broking or sales environment
  • Experience of working to high standards of FCA compliance

Using these skills, you’ll be:

  • Actively secure renewal business by re-broking existing business
  • Handling any complaints in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Reviewing the demands and needs of clients and advise on the most appropriate insurances to meet their demands and needs
  • Developing and maintaining a professional working relationship with all clients and provide expert product advice and guidance
  • Ensuring all business activity fully complies with FCA regulation whilst using checklists to support documentation to assist with demonstrating compliance
  • Ensuring bad debt queries are dealt with efficiently and in line with company procedure
  • Responding to client/insurer/third party enquiries by written or oral means
