The Regional Managing Director is accountable for our EMEA captive and insurance management operations. This role is EMEA-based and will report to the Global Captive Leader of Aon Captive and Insurance Management.

What The Day Will Look Like
- Inspiring and Leading Transformation: Drive the sustainable growth of our captive and insurance management client portfolio in EMEA by fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, helping design and implement Aon’s vision for industry leading captive solutions.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders including colleagues from Commercial Risk Solutions and Aon Reinsurance Solutions across EMEA, to embed Aon Captive and Insurance Management value proposition and support client conversations in relation to risk financing and captive utilisation.
- Team Development and Empowerment: Build and develop cohesive, high-performing teams across the region. Implement the priorities of the Captive and Insurance Management group Talent Agenda, focusing on nurturing talent and promoting professional growth.
- Creating Client Value: Make a meaningful impact on large accounts by driving new business acquisition, expanding revenue, and ensuring successful client retention and defence.
Specific Responsibilities
- Drive Business Results: Lead the Aon Captive and Insurance Managers EMEA team to drive results both for clients and Commercial Risk Solutions with a strong focus on client experience and colleague experience.
- Knowledge Expansion: Build the EMEA knowledge base and execution capabilities to expand the client footprint in collaboration with Captive and Insurance Management’s leaders.
- Client Portfolio Management: Support EMEA based teams to manage client needs in line with relevant country regulatory and client requirements.
- Thought Leadership: Take a leadership role in relevant thought leadership initiatives, such as Captive Benchmarking, Risk Maturity Index, and Global Risk Management Survey.

- Experience of driving transformational change projects.
- Strong ability in developing and implementing strategic plans that align with overall company goals, analyzing market trends, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Knowledge and understanding of financial principles to manage budgets, forecast, and ensure profitability.
- Excel in both verbal and written communication to convey expectations and feedback effectively across diverse teams.
- Extensive experience in team building and development is required.
- Be able to confidently identify problems, evaluate solutions, and implement the best outcomes.
- Client Relationship Management experience at c-suite level is expected.
- Be able to respond swiftly to changes in the business landscape, such as regulatory shifts or market demands.
- Hold a professional qualification, ideally insurance or finance related disciplines.
