What the day will look like
The primary responsibility is to implement and coordinate risk & insurance placements across portfolios for financial sponsor-owned companies globally. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, partnering with financial sponsors on strategy, managing client relationships, and coordinating internal Aon teams. Duties include:
- Implementing and coordinating risk and insurance value creation programs for financial sponsors and their portfolio companies.
- Collaborating closely with clients and their portfolio companies.
- Coordinating internal Aon expertise/resources across practices and geographies, building an internal network.
- Identifying cross-selling opportunities for other Aon products and services.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Enhancing the quality of client deliverables through coaching and leadership.

Coordination of Aon resources, technical advice, and solutions across geographies and practices is key, along with collaboration with clients and internal teams.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- ACII (full or part qualified)
- Proven general insurance experience, such as property & casualty insurance (broking or underwriting)
- Specific M&A transaction and/or project management experience
- Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and delegate effectively
- Track record of delivering high-quality client deliverables
- Strong report writing skills, articulating complex information clearly
- Networking experience and abilities, both internally and externally
