We're Hiring! Are you ready for a new challenge? Aon is currently recruiting a Senior Broker / Associate Director to join the Industrial Property team, which forms part of the wider Property practice within our Global Broking Centre. In this role you will be responsible for co-ordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of business specific to Pulp & Paper industries within the Lloyd’s and Company Markets on a day-to-day basis.

What the day will look like:

  • Support the Team Leader in ensuring that the team works as a cohesive unit meeting all service requirements agreed with the Aon offices and Insurers.
  • Manage/broke your own portfolio of accounts including both renewals and new business from initial enquiry through to the handing over of the placing slip to the processing/documentation team.
  • Developing/driving the placement strategy for each account.
  • Provide full reviews of the risks proposed, preparation of underwriting presentations.
  • Manage the relationship between the insured/network and the GBC, involving targeted travel where required and hosting of clients in London.
  • Overall responsibility for the running of the file, including the use of electronic placing platforms, ensuring KPI’s are met, and relevant data captures are completed for each account.
  • Actively contribute to the growth of the Portfolio and to the Property go to market strategy.
  • Understand our structured portfolio solutions (SPS’s) and work pro-actively with the PCCM chief broking officer to enhance the SPS strategy for Pulp and Paper occupancies.
  • Provide technical support and advice to other Aon offices acting as a referral point in relation to Pulp and Paper Industry specific queries and where necessary lead tenders.
  • Work with the regional teams to ensure that AV strategy is maximised across the Pulp & Paper portfolio.
  • Stay on top of Pulp & Paper market movements and changes of appetite.
  • Carry out such projects, tasks and other duties as may be specified by the Team Leader or Senior Management of the Division.
