Do you want a global reach? Would you like to partner with 50,000+ colleagues in 120 different countries? The Global Benefits Consultant will be focussed on working with Aon colleagues providing consulting advice to clients on the benefits for their Globally Mobile workforce, with the key focus on the placement of International Healthcare, Group Risk, Business Travel Accident and Global Employee Assistance programmes. This is a hybrid role giving you the flexibility to work from home and from one of our offices in the UK.
What the day will look like:
- No two days will be the same. The world we work in is ever changing whether it be client needs, regulation, legislation, or carrier propositions.
- You will play an important role in maintaining a portfolio of small to mid-sized corporate clients. This will include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients across all SME International Benefit products
- Supporting a Senior or Principal on larger more complicated multinational clients
- Ongoing Consulting, providing day to day advice and support to clients, including member and claims issues and compliance updates
- Attend regular client meetings
- Negotiations with insurers on renewals
- Report writing
- Stay up to date on general market developments and help senior colleagues ensure clients and prospects are aware of employee benefits issues likely to impact them globally

- We are looking for a candidate who is well organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and flexible to adapt to changing priorities
- High level of drive, enthusiasm, and resilience with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a busy workload
- A client focused mind-set
- Experience within the International Employee Benefits arena would be desirable, but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills – able to communicate well across organisational levels
- Excellent written and report writing skills and an engaging verbal communication style
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, able to interpret data, a full knowledge of all Microsoft packages mainly Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
