Aon are currently recruiting a Broker to join our International Property team based in London which is part of the Global Broking Centre. This role will involve co‐ordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of Property business within the Lloyd's and Company Markets on a day‐to‐day basis in accordance with Marketing Strategy. This is a hybrid role which will involve some office‐based working and some home‐based working.

What the day will look like:

  • Client/network engagement: Relationship development/management
  • Quoting terms, and completing tenders/RFPs
  • Presenting terms
  • Binding coverage
  • London market Broking: Submission drafting
  • Face‐to‐face Lloyds Broking, and E‐trading
  • Quoting and placing business within the London market including facilities
  • General Administration
  • File maintenance and management including marketing sheets
  • Document/MRC/MRCereview and completion
  • ECM/critical document/KPI management
  • The use of PPL and other London market / Aon proprietary systems
  • Supporting premium processing/invoicing and monitoring settlement

You will be responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of required training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

  • Ability to interpret and use data optimally.
  • Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation.
