Overview opportunities for the DB Sales team, driving the end-to-end sales process from initial client engagement and solution design through to pitch and closure. Drawing on your deep understanding of our investment solutions and your established connections, you will ensure that RFPs and pitches for our most strategically important opportunities are of exceptional quality, highly tailored, and position Aon as a market leader. You will initiate and own key client conversations, lead meetings and presentations, and ensure that all partners are engaged and aligned throughout the sales journey. You will mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture and supporting their growth. As a senior leader, you will drive engagement with internal stakeholders, cultivate positive relationships, and identify and convert new opportunities across Aon's client base. You will also contribute to the team's efforts in building relationships with Third-Party Evaluators and Professional Trustees to support new business generation. Additionally, you will play a key role in broader initiatives as they emerge in the fast-paced, innovative Investment Business.

Location: This role will be based in London, 3 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end sales process for key opportunities, from client engagement and solution design to pitch and closure.
  • Ensure RFPs and pitches are of exceptional quality, tailored to opportunities, and position Aon as a market leader.
  • Initiate and lead key client conversations; drive meetings and presentations; engage and align partners across the sales journey.
  • Mentor and develop team members to foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and build positive relationships to identify and convert new opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with Third-Party Evaluators and Professional Trustees to support new business generation.
  • Contribute to broader initiatives within the fast-paced Investment Business as opportunities emerge.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of the DB pension investment market with established relationships across the industry.
  • Significant experience in a sales leadership role, including end-to-end ownership of large and small opportunities, with a track record of driving new business wins.
  • Ability to lead and influence internal and external stakeholders to create and convert opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong executive presence.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, while setting direction in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinking and a proactive approach to improving sales processes and client engagement.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor, develop and guide team members.
