What the day will look like:

  • Unlock construction project opportunities from within Aon's internal network and prospects database and identify their needs, positioning Aon as the logical partner through strong sector knowledge, benchmarking (including GRIP), and professional articulation of Aon’s risk solutions.
  • Develop tailored revenue proposals using insights from similar clients and the full range of Aon services to ensure profitable, value‑adding propositions.
  • Collaborate with Project Management, Broking, and UK/international Aon offices to ensure seamless delivery against the agreed proposition.
  • Shape and contribute to client service propositions, taking a leading role where required in customisation, quality control, and presentation materials.
  • Work closely with Claims colleagues to build a strong, differentiated Claims proposition for each new client.
  • Build strong internal relationships—particularly across Client Management, Client Services, and specialist teams—to select the right experts for each prospect pitch.
  • Ensure full compliance with Aon Business Rules, FCA regulations, and all statutory requirements.

What Makes This Role Different:

This is a 75% origination and 25% execution role within Aon’s specialist UK Construction practice, focused on unlocking and winning construction project opportunities rather than managing an existing portfolio. You’ll take a highly consultative approach, using deep sector knowledge, benchmarking (including GRIP), claims insight and Aon’s full range of risk solutions to create genuinely differentiated propositions, all while working flexibly in a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary environment with access to expertise across the UK and globally.
